What was intended to be just a stone patio installation turned into
a much larger project as the home owner grew very impressed
with Green Thumb's work - which led to having Mike design and
add sidewalks and landscaping.
CONSTRUCTION IN MOTION
COMPLETED PROJECT
The owner of
this home
commissioned
Green Thumb to
construct a
stone walkway
leading from the
front door to the
driveway and
also install lush
landscaping.

Michael turned ditch digging into a work of art on this project outside of a townhouse in Houston's Washington Corridor.

The front porch of this home in Houston Heights needed a pathway leading from it and running along the side of the house to the backyard. Green Thumb installed stones with gravel running in between each stone.

The front entrance of a home in the Memorial area of Houston is beautifully accentuated with Green Thumb's installation of a fountain and landscaping.

The owners of this
townhouse wanted
a New Orleans
courtyard. Several
landscapers and
stone masons gave
a bid on the project.
They chose Green
Thumb because it
was the only
company that came
out and offered a
turnkey job
installing stone,
landscaping,
fountain, lights and
a sprinkler system.
BEFORE
AFTER
After Mike finished this installation in Houston Heights he said, “I think this job turned out cool,” and
so did the owner! The owner first requested concrete and then changed her mind, wanting a more
natural look. She wanted it to remind her of her summer home in Colorado. He added Cypress trees,
which are abundant in Colorado, and continued with up lighting into the trees and shrubs. He
installed a curved bench made of black slate stone, a fountain, riverbed rock and stone on the
ground, some mondo grass and a beautiful piece of Art that the owner brought to Houston from
another country.
BEFORE
The backyard to a trendy townhouse in Houston's Galleria area needed landscaping and a patio
to entertain the owner's friends. The owner wanted an old-world look, so Mike built a patio with
old Chicago brick, installed mature plants, a beautiful blue fountain, and a drain leading to the
front street.
